when you crave for something sweet the best option is microwave recipes which can be prepared in minutes… recreating the yummy puddings/dessert in microwave is unbelievable… 2 weeks back I have posted sticky dates pudding that was really yum…. This post is easier , quicker version of sticky toffee pudding prepared in microwave.

Ingredients
- 5 Dates pitted and chopped
- 1 1/2 tbsp hot water
- 1 1/2 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp Beaten egg
- 1/2 tbsp chopped walnut
Toffee sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup whipping cream
- 1/8 tsp vanilla essence
- pinch of salt

Instructions
- In a microwaveble mug Add in dates and hot water and microwave for 30 sec until dates are softened
- Then add in butter and mix well until it's melted and mixed well..
- Add in flour, brown sugar, baking powder, egg , chopped walnuts and mix it well
- Microwave it for 2 minutes until top is firm to touch.
- Combine the ingredients for toffee sauce and heat until well combined.
- Drizzle cake with toffee sauce and serve.

I heard of this but it seems like this dish is absolutely filled with sugar is there any other way to substitute sugar?
I have used only brown sugar …you can substitute with any sugar substitute…
